I am writing a quick post to say how happy I am that the Russians didn't have another bad ending. They got help in time and were able to free the submarine and thus able to free the people inside.
I cannot think of a worse way to die. Well, I can, but suffocation has to be up there with the top of my worst choices. I hate MRI's and anything remotely closed in. Submarines would be terrifying to me. I am very thankful all were rescued! A happy out come.

yes...tht is the first thing i read in the newspaper...
glad that they were alright...
wouldnt want it to happen like "kursk" the sunken submarine with 118 crews in it...
Yes Zbjernak, that was horrible and preventable. They should have gotten help much sooner. At least they have learned...
Ditto. I was so relieved. It was scary because they were down to under 24-hrs of air. That country needs to rethink their deep sea diving vessels.
Happy endings are the best. Renee
first thing I saw in the headlines --so glad it came out alright.
Kept thinking about the Sub situation since fri..Woke to CNN this am and heard the goodnews..Thankgod everyone is ok.
I am so not in the loop
I saw the plane crash in Toronto
and turned off the T.V. for days
although everything turned out well
I am so afraid of being stuck in something
I am glad they got out. That is two things that have turned out so positive...
home tomorrow.
Take care Nancy
Two miracles in one week...God is everywhere!
Love you,
Sarah
nancy...
even the old submarine ride at disneyland used to freak me out, so i know what you mean! glad it turned out well.
I am happy about it too. Last night I went online to the Times to see the predicament. Now for the space shuttle! I am worried about them!
I'm glad that wasn't another tragic ending.
I was so worried about that situation. Kept checking online for the progress. I'm glad they asked for help immediately this time, and that all the men were saved.
A little good news is always welcome! We can always find enough tragedies. Three cheers for the Royal Navy (and the US Navy which had farther to come and didn't get there first.)
